Working With Me

The clients who get the best results are the ones who collaborate with me, working together through the creative process.

This is not to say that I expect anyone to work on the code with me. What it does mean is (and this is especially for recovering do-it-yourselfers) we will both have more fun, I will be there to help you to think things through—and that you will end up with a website that is authentically you. Good content is the key to a successful website, content that tells your unique story and connects to your ideal clients and customers.

The creation of a website and online strategy has much in common with writing a business plan.

The thought that goes into it is proportional to the clarity you transmit to your audience and the success it brings to you. I always recommend starting with the questionnaire so that you have a better idea of what might be possible or otherwise overlooked. Your answers help you to gain clarity, and me to do the best job possible for you—and if you don’t have answers we can figure them out together or I will make recommendations.

At the start of each project I meet with you (in person if possible or via phone or Zoom) to learn about you, your business, your clients and your goals. The more information I have, the better I can serve you. When it comes to design, colors, marketing strategies, etc. I will offer my input and experience to complement your needs and taste.

There will be times when I request things that are time sensitive. The failure to provide these things can cause work to slow or even stop, depending upon it’s place within the project.

I will work with you to find a solution that you feel comfortable with, much in the way a business coach would.

My objective is for you to have both a web presence that suits you and is set up to help your business thrive, as well as a sense of empowerment when it comes to your web strategy.
